Not every doctor does every service. One doctor does laser, another does fillers. But the booking screen used to show every doctor next to every service. Reception had to remember who does what. And a patient booking online could pick a doctor who doesn't do that service at all.
Now the clinic tells the system once. Every booking screen follows.
Link doctors and services
You can do it from either side:
- From the service: open the service in Services. Under Doctors who perform this service, pick the doctors. Leave it empty if any doctor can do it.
- From the doctor: open the doctor in the staff settings. Under Services this doctor performs, pick the services.
Both sides show the same link. Change it in one place and the other one updates.
Booking at the front desk
When staff add a booking, or accept a booking request:
- Pick a service, and the doctor list shows only the doctors who do it.
- Pick a doctor, and the service list shows only that doctor's services.
- Picked more than one service? You see the doctors who do all of them. If no single doctor does them all, you see No single doctor performs all of these services.
Sometimes the doctor and the service come already filled in, and they don't match. A warning shows which services that doctor doesn't perform. Staff can still save. The clinic decides, not the screen.
Online booking and the WhatsApp bot
The same rule works for patients:
- On the clinic's online booking page, picking a service shows only the doctors who do it. Picking a doctor shows only their services. Clear doctor choice brings the full list back.
- The WhatsApp booking bot only offers doctors who perform the services the patient asked for. It won't book a doctor for a service they don't do.
Nothing changes until you set it up
A service with no linked doctors stays open to every doctor. So your bookings work as they do today. Link the services that need it, and leave the rest.
Not in this drop
- Staff bookings get a warning on a mismatch. They are not blocked.
- Some other screens that pick a doctor and a service (turning a CRM lead into a patient, package subscriptions, scheduling many package sessions at once) don't filter yet.
