The diet library from August is how the plan is built. This drop is how the plan reaches the patient, and how the numbers get onto the canvas without typing them twice.
What the patient sees
Open a plan, then Settings. Pick a design. Switch off calories, protein, or the whole summary. Save once.
That choice applies to print, the PDF, a WhatsApp attachment, and the public link in the same message. Hiding calories in the clinic and leaving them on the link the patient opens was the failure this setting exists to prevent.
Four designs:
- Detailed — the card layout you already know
- Compact — dense, for a one-page print
- Table — one table per day
- Patient friendly — large type, meal cards, built for a phone
When you send on WhatsApp, you can pick a preset for this send only — calories only, or no numbers — without changing the clinic default.
The calculator
On the builder, and on the nutrition tab, there is a Calculator.
Weight, height, age, and activity go in. BMI, BMR, maintenance, a goal (lose / keep / gain), and protein / carbs / fat come out. Apply writes the calorie target on the plan and stores activity on the patient file, so the maintenance figure can be reproduced later.
The builder header shows target versus actual. The library palette warns before an insert would blow the day’s remaining calories.
A whole week from the library
Foods, meals, and days were already there. There is now a fourth block: a plan — several days, ready to drop onto a new diet in one step. Start from the diets list or the patient file. Insert still copies; editing the library later does not rewrite a plan a patient is already following.
You can also name alternatives on a food (“chicken or fish”). They print under the item when you turn that on. Changing the library list does not change a plan already sent.
Change the grams. The numbers follow.
On the canvas, change 200 g to 150 g. Calories and protein follow when the food has per-100g numbers. Half, one-and-a-half, and double still work when you drop an item in. A number you typed by hand stays yours.
