A clinic already had a place to type a medical report. The gap was the paper. You picked a look, moved a header, changed a font — and the print came out the same beige page as everyone else.
That is the gap this drop closes. What you design is what prints. Same as a prescription already works: upload the letterhead, drag the fields, and the PDF is that page.
Treatment plans did not change in this drop. They stay on the same feature page.
Design the clinic paper once
Open Info Templates, then Medical Report Designs.
Upload the letterhead image. Drag the fields onto it: patient name, age, phone, clinic name, doctor name, date, vitals, stamp, QR. Size the box where the report text will sit.
You can keep more than one design. A discharge summary can use the inpatient paper. A referral letter can use a lighter one. Each specialty can have its own default, the same way prescriptions already do.
Design this on a computer. The canvas is a full A4 page. Writing and printing the report still work from the patient file, including on a tablet.
Write the report on the patient
Open the patient file, then Reports. Add a report. Pick a body template if the clinic has one — that is the reusable text, not the letterhead. Fill the body. Save.
Names, age, date, and the other fields fill themselves from the file. You can still type a value by hand when this patient is different.
Medical Reports in the side menu is where you keep those reusable texts. Medical Report Designs is where you keep the paper. They are two jobs on purpose.
The AI Assistant can still draft the body. You read it, then insert or replace.
The paper matches the screen
Print, save a PDF, or send on WhatsApp. The file is the page you designed. Long text continues on the next page. The letterhead is on every page — not a blank continuation sheet.
Preview is the same page, before you send it.
A report from January stays January
When you save a report for a patient, the look and the values freeze with it. If someone edits the letterhead in March, the January report still prints as it did in January.
To adopt the latest paper on an old report, open it and tap Use current design. That is on purpose. The new layout applies on save. The patient values already stored stay as they were.
Picking a different design on a draft is also a choice you make, not a silent switch.
Older reports from before this drop still open to preview and print. They stay as they were.
