The doctor checks two places. Clinic visits live in Smart Clinic. The school run, the conference, and the other hospital live on their phone. The front desk can book a slot the doctor is not free for, because nobody told the clinic.
This drop closes that gap. Each doctor connects their own Google account. Clinic visits show in a SmartClinic calendar inside that account. If the doctor turns it on, time they mark busy in Google stops new bookings. A clinic where nobody connects sees no change.
Google cannot move or cancel a visit. Smart Clinic stays the place the appointment lives. Booking links from a link for each doctor still work the same way.
Connect from your profile
Open your profile. The Google Calendar card says what connecting does. Tap Connect. You go to Google, pick the account, and come back. The card shows that Google email and the last sync.
A manager can see who is connected, and can remove a connection. They cannot connect for a doctor. Each person connects their own account.
What shows up in Google
Visits land in a calendar Smart Clinic creates in the doctor's Google account, named for the clinic. A new visit, a move, and a cancel show there, usually within about 15 minutes.
By default the title is the branch, not the patient. Names stay off. Phone numbers stay off. Diagnosis and notes never go across.
Turn names on only if you mean it. The card warns you first: those names will sit in your personal Google account. A phone number can be added only after names are on.
A link back to the visit in Smart Clinic is on. An online visit can carry the join link. The place is the branch, or that join link when the visit is online.
When you are busy on your phone
This stays off until the doctor turns it on. Then time marked busy in their personal Google calendar closes booking — on the public form, WhatsApp, the patient app, and when staff book a visit.
They pick the branches. With no branch chosen, nothing is blocked. Turn it off and those blocks go away.
Disconnect
You choose. Keep the visits already in Google, and Smart Clinic stops updating them. Or remove the SmartClinic calendar, including those visits.
If Google access is lost, the card turns red and asks for a reconnect. Booking in the clinic keeps working either way.
