A leave request sits in someone's notifications for two days. Three people get the same booking request, and two of them call the patient. The manager mutes everything, because most of it is noise.
This drop fixes how the team hears about work. Every staff notification now opens the exact record it is about. And each clinic decides who hears what.
One page for everything
Open the bell and press View all notifications. The new Notifications page has five tabs: All, Unread, Needs action, Snoozed, and Archived.
- Needs action shows only what waits for you.
- Approve or accept a request right from the list: leave, advance, overtime, permission, deduction, a shift, a purchase order, a payment proof, or a session request.
- Many people got the same request? When one of them handles it, everyone else's copy shows Handled by, with their name and the time. Nobody does the same job twice.
- From the row menu: Snooze it for later, Archive it, or Mute this type.
- Search, filter by type and date, and mark many as read at once.
You choose how you hear
Under your profile, open the Notifications tab. For each category, pick where it reaches you: Phone, Browser, or WhatsApp. In-app is always on, so nothing gets lost.
- Quiet hours: no pushes or WhatsApp in the window you pick, on the days you pick.
- Digest: Instant, Hourly, or Daily, 08:00. Info and warnings come together in one push. Anything that needs your action never waits for a digest.
- Hold notifications while I’m in a session: non-urgent pushes wait until you close the session.
Critical alerts always reach you, whatever you choose.
The owner sets the rules
In settings, open Notification rules. For each type of notification:
- Pick who gets it: by role, by permission, or specific people. Who would get it? shows the names before you save.
- Pick the channels: in-app, push, and WhatsApp.
- Set what happens when nobody handles it. It goes to the branch managers after a time you set, then to the owner.
What’s working shows which notifications people open, and which ones they ignore or mute. One tap turns off the noisy ones for the whole clinic.
The lab has its own rules too: a lab alert can go to the assigned technician, or to the doctor who asked for the test.
In the session settings, you also set when to alert: a patient waiting too long, a finished session still unpaid, a booking request nobody answered, or a shift left open too long.
New alerts
The team now hears about:
- Cashier shift closings, and the end-of-day summary
- Patients waiting too long, or leaving without paying
- Leave, deduction and violation requests
- Purchase orders, supply requisitions and stock counts that need approval
- Payment proofs, patient requests and store returns
- Refunds and large discounts
Your shift brief
On the home page, each person gets Your shift brief. It is ready 15 minutes before their shift, or at 08:00 if they have no shift. It says, in a few lines, what waits for them today.
AI writes it from counts only. No patient data goes in. Each person can regenerate it twice a day. The AI writing uses your AI credits. Without credits, the brief still shows, in a simple version.
